Hunt Southern Illinois

3 Rivers Resources
General Information

We would like to thank you for your interest in hunting with 3 Rivers Resources. 3 Rivers manages over 3,000 acres in Wabash and Edwards County. We believe in low pressure, therefore we will only take 4-6 hunters per package. All of our hunts are fully guided. We will only begin hunting this property during the pre rut through prime time. We do offer some packages for the post rut as well as late season hunts. Bow hunting is our main influence, but we do offer shotgun and muzzleloader hunts as well.

We hunt several different types of terrain such as open hardwoods, thick bedding areas, food plots, river bottoms, field edges, and natural funnels. You will be hunting out of lock-on stands, ladder stands, ground blinds, or climbing tree stands. Our lock-on stands are mostly gorilla stands with 20 foot climbing sticks. Scouting is done year round at 3 Rivers Resources. Stands are hung and in place from previous years experience as well as any new sign we find. We also believe in total scent control when scouting and setting stands. Minimal pressure is a big key to harvesting these mature whitetails.

3 Rivers Resources takes all the steps necessary to promote a high quality and healthy deer population. We require a minimum of 140 class Pope and Young buck. We also promote the harvest of mature does while on your hunt. We'll give each hunter $100 toward a future hunt if they help us manage our deer herd by taking a doe. We can donate the meat to the hungry or keep the meat cool until you are ready to leave.

All of 3 Rivers Resources hunts are 100% fair chase. Stands are rotated and hunted only with the right conditions. These mature whitetails will not tolerate over hunting one stand location. It is our goal to give you the best opportunity to harvest a true Illinois giant whitetail. We are very dedicated and want you to enjoy your hunt with us in Illinois.

If you are interested in hunting with 3 Rivers Resources and a chance to harvest a big mature whitetail give us a call.
